Not the best of speakers by Sebastien Bradshaw
Don’t get me wrong, the mids and highs sound great. Probably the best of most 2.1 systems. However the subwoofer just plain sucks. Really! Shure the sub “throws” the bass around the room at low volume, but compared to how LOUD the satellites can get….it’s an uneven match. The bass can’t keep up and gets distorted VERY easily. You’ll find yourself having to LOWER the subwoofer volume as you raise the speaker volume. Very annoying.
Oh and the amplifier they use in this gets VERY HOT!!! Shure you won’t be feeling the heat since the subwoofer is usually in an out of the way place but…too much heat usually leads to failure. I bought these speakers as an experiment just to see what the hype was all about. You have been warned!
I’ll be taking this speaker apart to see what the build quality is like as soon as I get my OTHER speaker system. So keep a look out for an update.

Klipsch 2.1 pro Media PC speaker system is a horrible choice. Base module very poor electronic & subject to distortion & short life span. Tech support is terrible. They sound good in the begining, after warrantee period there service & consumer help is terrible. Buy Logitech

These are great speakers, great highs, solid midrange and deep bass. Good price for the speakers, maybe a little high in price relative to other PC speakers but still a great value.
